I am a Traveller where do I put my tent?

We have created what we think are a few well chosen beautiful sites amongst the trees for tents… different sized areas folks can choose to pitch a tent at, we will show you options when you arrive. We work the areas a few times a year to make sure area/trees are safe for tenting.

How do carry my things over to where I pitch my tent or to where I am staying?

We provide a few wagons/carts, it’s not more then a 5 minute walk from your vehicle down our road to where you are going back in the Forest.

Where do it park?

Along our road into the land, you’ll see the signs. Please DO NOT drive all the way in you’ll need to BACK UP.

What are the washrooms?

Is there water I can use for washing and drinking?

Yes, we have washing stations and an outdoor basin for washing dishes with running water, and provide potable water.

What do I bring and where is it?

We provide a comprehensive Guidebook closer to the retreat dates that says what to bring, including how to get here.

Where do I store my cooler?

It’s bear season, store it in your vehicle or leave it or bring it to the cabin and we will store it overnight and bring it out in the morning. NO FOOD IN YOUR TENT.

Where can I keep my food for the potluck?

We don’t really have room for it ourselves but if you can bring room in your cooler or an extra cooler that is probably the bets option!

Where do I eat or cook?

At your tent, however you set yourself up for that just like you normally camp.

I need to cancel can I get a refund?

Yes absolutely, at least 14 days ahead of time for a full refund, no refund within 14 days.

Yes we can send a message to other registrants and see if anyone can message you to give you a ride, we do not offer rides ourselves as we are on the land getting ready.

Can I drive in each day and commute?

Yes it is possible of course, we do encourage you to stay the weekend and take in the land and all that is offered!

Can we come out Saturday morning instead of Friday?

Yep!

Can I just come out for one day instead of the whole weekend?

It might be possible if there is room available, you will have to contact us first.

Is there a price difference if we are not staying out?

No! We offer a place to put a tent in kind :).

Can I bring my family?

We respect that some have needs and small children, but unfortunately no please make arrangements you need to, from past experience we are sure you will enjoy your weekend.

Can I bring my dog?

No unfortunately. We love our furry friends but it is not really compatible, and we also have our dog out the weekend and she unfortunately is a rescue and that would just be a lot of extra work for us to watch for as we are very busy hosting all weekend.
